Description: This is one of the nicest ranches you will find. The North Fork of the Pease River runs through the center of the ranch for over a mile. If you are familiar with the Pease River, you know it will provide excellent hunting. There are several draws, feeders, and lots of elevation change that enhance habitat for wildlife. The cover is very heavy in most places and would suit a bow hunter or rifle hunter. Wildlife includes Whitetail Deer, Mule Deer, Wild Hogs, Turkey, Quail, Coyotes, Bobcats, and other varmints. While there, I heard Bob White Quail and noticed several places where hogs have rooted, as well as numerous deer tracks. Native trees are abundant. The native grass is in good condition. The CRP grass is in excellent condition. There are 618.3 acres enrolled in the CRP program, paying $18,283.00 annually through 9/30/2022. All CRP acres are located on the south side of ranch.
