Location: Approximately 4 miles south and 4 miles west of Floydada, or approximately 13 miles south of Lockney Texas, on the south side of FM 37. Certificate No. 139, Abstract No. 1554, Patent No. 306, Vol. 39, dated January 12, 1910, to J. F. McCarty, recorded Vol. 2, Page 175, Patent Records of Floyd County Texas.
Description: This is a nice irrigated farm in southern/south western Floyd County. The land is mostly flat with the exception of the very east field which slopes toward the east. There are currently 3 wells that are producing approximately 450 gallons of water per minute combined. All wells are equipped with electric, submergible pumps with 1- 25HP and 2-30HP pumps. The well depths are between 385-410 feet. (New well 410 feet)The wells appear to be in excellent condition. There are 3 fields with drip irrigation. One field contains 60 acres of drip on 76” spacing (6 years old), another field contains 47 acres on 38” spacing (2 years old), and another field contains 80 acres on 38” spacing, (new, first year) for a total of 188 acres under drip. There is a brick house contiguous to this land, located on the highway that is not part of this offering, and will not be included in the sale of this land.
